Country Glamour Wedding Styled Shoot
Natural glamour, oozing with foliage and shades of precious metals, is the theme of this country glamour wedding shoot by photographer Emma-Jane Lewis at The Barn at Cott Farm in Somerset.
The wedding barn is adorned with greenery on the tables and even above them, with a statement feature of cascading foliage suspended from the fairy-lit wooden beams. Traditional ivory table runners and gold candelabras are laced with on-trend statement copper geometrics and leafy foliage runners to create a lavish modern style, dripping with organic charm.
The aisle decor and statement top table centerpiece mirror the bride’s bouquet, teaming with greenery, blush pinks and ivories. The botanical theme is continued through the wedding stationery, while the literal icing on the (wedding) cake is crystallised detailing, perfecting the organic-industrial theme.
The bride’s soft pink make up and half-up loose waved hairstyle complements the natural theme, while the bridal gown balances millennial and classic, with a soft blush interior, intricate detailing and plunging v-neck.
Photographer Emma-Jane says:
“I love to incorporate my background in fashion photography when shooting weddings by adding stronger elements and unusual backdrops to traditional wedding scenes. For example, the couple balancing on the logs gave a more intense look. And who can resist a yellow field as a background… much to our groom’s discomfort due to hay fever! The venue, with its rustic origins and modern twists, plus the glamping field, was ideal for a relaxed and natural shoot. The infusion of greenery with copper and gold tones gave a beautiful, complimentary palette.”
