A beautiful barn
Our vintage wooden barn can accommodate 60 to 150 guests for your meal. Inside is a beautiful space with white walls and natural textures of wood and coir. Fairy lights twinkle on the original beams, with windows allowing natural light during the day. The barn is transformed into a beautifully atmospheric backdrop for 80 to 250 guests to enjoy in the evening.
Acres of space with country views
As a former farm there’s plenty of outdoor space, including the option to have your ceremony outside.
Our countryside setting provides the perfect backdrop for photos. Outside the barn is seating area, our wood-fired pizza oven, the lawn (perfect for garden games and photos, as well as our fire pit in the evening) and our camping field over a footbridge. There’s plenty of car parking too.
Licensed for civil ceremonies
Cott Farm is licensed for civil ceremonies both outdoors and inside so you can have your ceremony and reception in one place. You can choose to say your vows outdoors or within the comfort of The Barn.
You’ll have privacy throughout your special day. You and your guests will enjoy the whole venue, bar, staff and facilities without the intrusion of members of the public, or guests from other weddings.
With weekend venue hire, you can make the venue your own from when you arrive on Friday morning, to when you leave around Sunday lunchtime, including the option of glamping on your wedding night in luxury bell tents situated in our private campsite.
Delicious, locally-sourced menus

We’re passionate about food at The Barn at Cott Farm. We’re lucky to be surrounded by some of the finest food and drink producers and we use fresh, locally-sourced and seasonal ingredients wherever possible. You can choose from one of our example wedding breakfast menus, or write your own choice of dishes. This will be cooked on site in our adjacent kitchen and served by our experienced team.
After your wedding breakfast, you can choose your favourite menu for your evening party. Our evening menus, which include our famous woodfired pizzas, are served informally from our outdoor kitchen.
We also offer a stretch tent hire option to create additional covered space for weddings with more than 150 daytime or 250 evening guests.
Our range of props and styling items, along with the gorgeous furnishings, mean we’re far more than a blank canvas; instead we offer a great background for you to add your finishing touches.
The Barn is neutrally decorated and includes furniture. Our 15 handmade rectangle wooden plank top tables each seat ten people. These are complemented by vintage wooden chairs. Fairy lights, lanterns, neutral bunting and a foliage hoop adorn the inside, with atmospheric lighting outside.
Wedding weekends at Cott Farm include the day before to set up, so you’ll have plenty of time to style the venue exactly how you’d like it using our decorations and your own. You can choose from our range of rustic, vintage, boho and natural-themed decorations and accessories. We also offer a full venue and tabling styling service if you need help.
Wedding coordinator, staff and equipment
We’ve been hosting weddings and large celebrations at the farm since we renovated the barn in 2016. We’re proud that each is completely unique and genuinely special.
We’ll guide you through planning, and will be on hand throughout the day. We also take care of sourcing all the plates, glasses, cutlery and other equipment required for your chosen menu (including water jugs, wine coolers, salt/ pepper mills etc), and do everything from laying tables, checking decor and setting up furniture to coordinating your timings on the day, so that you can just enjoy your day.
Our staffed bar is stocked with a wide range of local and popular drinks. Cash and card payments are accepted, along with table service via QR code.
Opposite the bar is the snug, a comfy seating area for guests to rest their dancing feet and enjoy a drink and a chat.
Luxury loos & couple’s dressing room
Our unique, handmade* shepherd’s hut luxury toilets are provided for your exclusive use. There are three ladies cubicles and one gents with three urinals. *We mean, literally… watch the build on our YouTube channel
The Nook is a private dressing room for the two of you to use. It features two dressing tables with chairs mirrors, a huge full length mirror and a comfy lounge chair. Through a sliding door is a large shower room, complete with toilet, basin and shower. This room is on ground level, providing your less mobile guests with a level access toilet.
Freedom to choose your own entertainment, photographer and florist
We think your wedding should be completely personal to you, so we don’t restrict which band or disco, photographer, florist or other suppliers you choose for your wedding. We have plenty of recommendations, if you need help. We also offer a full wedding planning service if you would prefer to just turn up and enjoy your day.
Wedding glamping & camping
Our wedding venue campsite is available for your exclusive hire for the night of your wedding. Five luxury furnished bell tents are included in our glamping option, and there’s plenty of space for your guests to pitch their own tents. If you and your guests would like to stay overnight, you can enjoy a full English breakfast the following morning.
