Wedding Ceremony Update: 25 June 2020
Wedding ceremonies with up to 30 attendees are permitted from Saturday 4th July 2020.
For the first time in three months, couples can finally say I Do, either at a church or an approved venue.
Cott Farm is an ‘approved premises’. This means we are licensed to host your legal marriage ceremony.
You can get legally married in a beautiful location at Cott Farm: either outside on our wooden pergola with country views, or within the comfort of our spacious renovated and decorated barn.
We are licensed for ceremonies for 150 guests, which means we have plenty of space for 30 people to safely distance.
Wedding receptions for more than six people aren’t currently permitted. But, if you wish, you can choose to have a celebration at the farm at a later date.
A ceremony only wedding includes:
- Exclusive use of the venue for your ceremony and photos
- Furniture for your ceremony
- Set up of ceremony, outside or inside
- Use of approved premises licence (required for a legal marriage)
- Curtain backdrop and outdoor aisle carpet
- Lighting, heating (indoors) & power
- Wedding co-ordinator
- Ample parking
Ceremony only wedding availability
Availability: Weekend wedding ceremony bookings can only be taken up to three months in advance. Monday to Thursday ceremonies can be booked for later dates.
Booking: We are currently taking provisional bookings for this ceremony only option. A booking fee of £200 is required to secure your date. As with all licensed premises, you are responsible for booking your registrars. The remaining balance is due once you have confirmed your ceremony date and time with Somerset Registration Service. Note: The booking fee is non-refundable. However, in the event of the registrars being unavailable on your chosen date, the booking fee may be transferred to a different date by agreement with us.
