Cott Farm is a destination for weddings, celebrations and corporate events. Located on the Somerset-Dorset border between Yeovil and Crewkerne, the venue is easily accessible but wonderfully private.

Visit Cott Farm
On the Somerset-Dorset border between Yeovil and Crewkerne (both five miles), Cott Farm is ten miles from Sherborne. Dorchester, Taunton, and the south coast are all approximately twenty miles from the farm. We are forty miles from Bath and Bristol, and London is a 2.5-hour drive or direct train ride.
The best way to imagine your wedding or event at Cott Farm is to visit us! We offer viewings by appointment, both in person or virtually via video call.
A beautiful barn with plenty of outdoor space
Our vintage wooden barn can accommodate 60 to 150 guests for your meal. Inside is a beautiful space with white walls and natural textures of wood and coir. Fairy lights twinkle on the original beams, with windows allowing natural light during the day. The barn is transformed into a beautifully atmospheric backdrop for 80 to 250 guests to enjoy in the evening.
Guests can enjoy the great outdoors with country views, with outside seating, formal lawn and a vast field with camping over the footbridge.
Licensed for wedding ceremonies
Cott Farm is licensed for wedding ceremonies so you can have your legal wedding ceremony and your wedding reception in one place, without you and your guests having to move to another venue after your ceremony.
You can choose from three beautiful locations for your wedding ceremony at the farm. Alternatively, we can host your wedding celebrations following your ceremony your local church.
The time, space and guidance to create your perfect day
You’ll have privacy throughout your day. You and your guests will enjoy the whole venue, bar, staff and facilities without the intrusion of members of the public, or guests from other weddings or events.
We’ve been hosting weddings and large celebrations at the farm since we renovated the barn in 2016. We’re proud that each is completely unique and genuinely special for everyone, including our team. We’ll help you with planning your timings, and will be on hand throughout the day to coordinate your day.
