Cott Farm is a spacious country wedding and events venue nestled in a valley in Somerset. The venue is easily accessible, but wonderfully private. We are ten miles from Sherborne, and around twenty miles from Dorchester, Taunton and the south coast. London is a 2.5-hour drive or direct train, and Bath and Bristol are around forty miles.
There’s plenty of outdoor space with country views, whilst inside the heated Barn is furnished with handmade natural wood tables, wooden chairs and tasteful, neutral decor.
Perfect for parties, conferences and celebrations for 60 plus people, there’s space for 150 guests for a sit down meal or 250 standing (this can be increased with the stretch tent option). Hiring Cott Farm for your company party includes a choice of menus cooked and served to you by our experienced team. You’ll have the space, the facilities, and our team – including chef, servers, bar team and event coordinator – to yourselves. Just choose your date and menu, invite your guests and relax!

We host a limited number of weddings and events, making each completely unique and genuinely special. No two events are the same, and we will work with you to create your ideal format, including coordination on the day. All events include:

We’re lucky to be surrounded in Somerset by some of the finest food and drink producers in the country, so it’s easy to use fresh, locally-sourced and seasonal ingredients in our menus.
We offer a choice of menus to suit your event – from three course meals, to barbecues or freshly made pizzas baked in the wood fired oven or other tempting feasts. Choose from one of our set menus, or write your own, and it’ll be freshly cooked in our adjoining commercial kitchen and beautifully served by our professional team.
For drinks, our bar is stocked with a wide range of popular drinks with plenty of local producers, served by our experienced team.
