Cott Farm is licensed for wedding ceremonies. You can have your wedding ceremony only at the farm if you’ve already made plans for your wedding reception and/or your evening party at an unlicensed location elsewhere.
Get married in a beautiful location…
You can get legally married in a beautiful location at Cott Farm. As an ‘approved premises’, we are licensed to host your legal marriage ceremony indoors or outside.
Our wedding pergola offers you the chance to say your vows in the great outdoors with your friends and family watching from wooden seating on the lawn. You may also choose to get married outside the front of the barn. Both outdoor options have great views of the valley beyond the farm.
If you’d prefer an indoor ceremony, or the weather is poor, your guests can enjoy the warmth and comfort of our spacious barn, with twinkling fairy lights on the wooden beams for the perfect ambience.
We are licensed for wedding ceremonies for up to 150 people (including both of you).
Venue hire for your wedding ceremony includes:
- Exclusive use of the venue, grounds & facilities for your wedding ceremony
- Heating (indoors)
- Ample parking
- Plenty of outdoor space
- Seating and set up for your ceremony
- Luxury shepherd’s hut toilets
This venue hire option is available to book in advance on Monday to Thursday dates, as our hire for weekend weddings include both the Friday and Sunday (as well as the Saturday). However, last minute weekend dates are available for ceremony only bookings. Please contact us if you’d like to book a Friday, Saturday or Sunday date within the next few months.

Pricing starts at £812+VAT (based on a Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday ‘2+2’ (both of you, plus two witnesses)).

As with all licensed premises, you are responsible for booking and paying for your registrars directly with Somerset Council.
Ceremony only wedding availability
Wedding Ceremony Only bookings are available to book up to two years in advance for Monday to Thursday dates. Remaining Friday, Saturday or Sunday dates within the next few months can be booked for this option.
